Experience Great Art from the Seat of Your Bike!

Friday October 12, 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. in Pasadena

Cyclists and art lovers alike will enjoy this relaxing and intriguing bike tour of Pasadena's vast collection of art galleries and museums, many of which are open for free during ArtNight, Friday, October 12, 2007.

Highlights of this pedal-powered art tour include stops at Armory Center for the Arts, Castle Green, Pasadena City College, Pasadena Museum of California Art and other venues participating in ArtNight. The ArtNight Ride is your chance to experience world-class culture in a whole new way.

ArtNight Ride is a fun social event that is open to all skill levels. The pace is relaxed and easy, and beginning bicyclists should feel free to join the ride. Ample time has been arranged to visit each location. Supervised parking is available, however each rider is asked to bring his or her own bicycle lock.

The Pasadena ArtNight Ride is organized and led by Cyclists Inciting Change through LIVE Exchange (C.I.C.L.E.) and there will be gift giveaways at the start of the ride by both Patagonia and C.I.C.L.E.

Ride Start / End: Riders should meet at 6:00P.M. in Smith Alley behind the Patagonia store at One Colorado located on Union and Fair Oaks in Old Pasadena (47 North Fair Oaks, 91103).

Getting to the Ride: If you are arriving via the Gold Line, use the Memorial Park Station and follow Holly Street to Fair Oaks. The ArtNight Ride is part of Pasadena ArtWeekend, a three-day festival that includes ArtNight, ArtWalk, ArtHeritage, ArtMarket and ArtPerformance, October 12 through 14, 2007.ArtWeekend is a joint venture of the Cultural Affairs Division of theCity of Pasadena with the Arts & Culture Commission, Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau, One Colorado, Latino Heritage, Playhouse District Association and the Old Pasadena Management District.
