PASADENA, Calif.-- Parsons, in
conjunction with FCI Constructors and Fluor Enterprises, will design
and construct the 8.5 mile Mid-City/Exposition Corridor Light Rail
Transit Project, a new light rail transit line from downtown Los
Angeles to Culver City.
Commissioned by the Exposition Metro Line Construction Authority, the project will include eight new passenger stations, two of which will be elevated, three park-and-ride lots, bicycle lanes, and one cut-and-cover underground grade separation near the University of Southern California.

Design work for the Mid-City/Exposition Corridor Light Rail Transit Project will begin immediately, with construction also starting this year. The project will begin revenue operations in June 2010.
