holy cow,i cant beleive you guys while i applaud the cycling footage all and all this is a complete load of crap…................. the first critical mass and i was there was brought about by a fellow messenger MARCUS COOK THE NOW DECEASED LEAD SINGER OF THE BAND L-SID.THERE WAS 12 OF US AND THE IDEA WAS TO GET OUT OF DOWNTOWN SAFELY ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER A WEEK OF DODGING CARS FOR A LIVING. well the idea grew and the next ride had 30 people and it grew into a world wide phenom. These folks claiming to have started the ride ARE FULL OF EGO – AGAIN i remember the day Marcus coined the term CRITICAL MASS to decribe the ride. also its important to note that the practice of people driving to work with their bikes to turn around and ride out of downtown completely defeats the whole point.
nice try johnny come to lates why not give marcus his due oh criss never saw you there on the first 5 rides thats when alot of the original riders quit because a traffic jam is still a traffic jam .the first rides went from downtown to zeitguist
Ted again i applaud your efforts but your project was hijacked by glory hounds too bad.
stay on 2 wheels
