On Friday some new Los Angeles area bicycle commuters are going take a
ride with their very own Bike Coach. These new commuters will be
getting important tips on how to handle traffic situations from
experienced riders which will give them an added edge when it comes
time to going it alone.
Roll With It premiers on September 15th, and if the energy and
enthusiasm of the young upstarts who are bringing a bike buddy program
to LA is any indication of its success, the program and the newbies
look to be in solid hands.
If you know of someone who would like to start bicycle commuting to
work but they seem a little apprehensive to do so alone, here is a
great opportunity to get your friends, family member, co-worker, or even a stranger matched up
with a kind and a free personal trainer. A Bike Coach will guide the
new bike commuter safely to work, giving him/her lots of free...that’s right, absolutely free, advice, tips, suggestions and route suggestions.
Bike Coach Volunteers are standing by...so what are you waiting
for...go on write them an email and start commuting in a whole new way
today...or more likely in a couple of days, like on Sept. 15th.
