[[image:bike_week.gif::inline:1]]This week is national Bike to Work Week. And there are a lot of ways to celebrate here locally. This year, C.I.C.L.E. has been working in collaboration with the City of Pasadena, One Colorado, and Patagonia to present Bike Week Pasadena. We’ve chosen to take the “work” out of it, and are slamming in a week’s worth of bike fun.

We’ve planned more than 15 free events, from Monday, May 14 to Sunday, May 20, including: a ride to the newly renovated Pasadena City Hall with Pasadena’s Mayor and bicycling aficionado Bill Boogard, bike movie screenings every night at the One Colorado Courtyard, themed bike rides, morning pit stops all week long, and an Urban Bicycle Commuter Expo. Also enjoy free live music performed by Triple Chicken Foot, Mariachi Divas, and Telematique.Check out the Bike Week Pasadena Schedule for all of the details.

In downtown Los Angeles, you can celebrate at the Bike to Work Week kick-off rally with Metro, LACBC, Ed Begley Jr, Councilman Tom LaBonge from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Enjoy a free concert with the Ditty Bops, a custom bike show, and more.

Wake up on your way to work with some coffee, treats, giveaways, and bike friends at one of the many morning bicycle pit stops happening all over LA county.

Have a great BtWW, and maybe we’ll see ya out there!
