Looking Back: The South x Southeast River Ride was a blast!

On Saturday, May 23, 2015, through a sponsorship by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), LACBC and C.I.C.L.E. led the “South x Southeast River Ride.” We explored the river paths and learned about planning efforts in the neighboring communities. The ride started from Bell Gardens John Anson Ford Park, with thoughtful words from Assemblywoman Christina Garcia and from Cudahy Council man Baru Sanchez. From there, the group rode to Cudahy City Hall and Parque Dos Rios, ending with some tasty treats from the lcoal taco spot. We had a blast and hope you did too!

Thanks to Metro for sponsoring this event and to our rockstar partners for envisioning and curating such a great ride. And, high-fives to our volunteer team who kept riders safe, smiling and sailing smoothly. Want to join the team? Learn more here.
