Tuesday March 27th is for Beer and Bikerowave Lovers
Westside LA: Library Alehouse, New Belgium Brewry and Patgonia or helping raise spirits and funds for the fresh and fabulous Do it Yourself bike repair space, Bikerowave.
Tuesday the 27th Westside bikers have the opportunity to take part in a historic collaboration. New Belgium Brewery (maker of Fat Tire), Patagonia and the Library Alehouse are teaming up to support Bikerowave as their "non profit of the month".Huh? What is Bikerowave? Bikerowave is the "do it yourself"wrenching space for cyclists located on the Westside. You know, like the Bike Kitchen or Bike Oven. We provide the tools and expertise so that cyclists in west LA can learn about and maintain their machines.
So, this Tuesday, we'll throw a CM style ride leaving from the Library Alehouse at 2911 Main St in Santa Monica at 7:30pm. We'll ride for a while and then return to the Alehouse to drink and socialize. The Alehouse will finish raffling (they've been doing it all month)off a New Belgium Brewery "Fat Tire Ale" cruiser and donate the
proceeds, as well as donate 15% of the night's proceeds to the Bikerowave. If you've been to Santa Monica Critical Mass then you know how we do it on the Westside.
In addition to the usual friendly chillatmosphere, ocean views, supportive Santa Monica crowds, and music system we'll also have an all grass beach cruiser race for a Patagonia jacket. Think you're fast on a fixed gear bud? Let's see how fast you can move on a 40-pound beach cruiser.
At present Bikerowave is located at 2811 Pico Blvd (enter through the parking lot in the rear) Santa Monica. We'll be moving to a new, (soon to be disclosed) location in April. For updates please check Bikerowave.comNuke your bike!
